By scheduling an appointment with Locs of Love LLC ("the Salon"), you acknowledge and agree to the policies outlined below. These policies help us maintain an organized schedule, ensure fairness to all clients, and provide the best possible salon experience.

Deposits

Terms

A $40 deposit is required to secure your appointment.

Deposits are non-refundable and are applied toward the total cost of the service.

Transfers are permitted a maximum of two (2) times with at least 24 hours notice.

Limits

Changes made within 24 hours of the appointment will result in the deposit being forfeited, and a new deposit will be required.

Deposits are not transferable between clients or services.

Booking Accuracy

Loc Count & Time

Services are booked based on loc count and estimated service time.

Clients with established locs must provide an approximate loc count at booking.

Incorrect Bookings

The salon reserves the right to reschedule or adjust incorrectly booked appointments.

The original $40 deposit will be forfeited.

A new deposit is required to secure the correct appointment.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

Notice Window

Clients must provide at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

Fees

Same-day cancellations: 50% of the total service plus deposit may be forfeited.

No-shows: 100% of the service total and deposit may be forfeited.

Fees will be charged to the payment method on file.

Late Arrivals

Grace Period & Fees

Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may incur a $30 late fee.

Schedule Impact

Services may be shortened or adjusted to maintain the salon schedule.

Service Changes

Advance Changes

Requests to modify services must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

Extended Appointments

If your original appointment reserved 4+ hours, and you cancel or modify within 24 hours, you may remain financially responsible for the originally reserved time.

When booking a haircut with loc services, please schedule:

Adjustments

The salon may modify or reschedule appointments that are not booked in the correct order.

Consultations

In-Person

Consultations are required for new clients.

Consultation fee: $50

If services are booked within 90 days, the consultation fee is applied toward the service total.

Consultation credits expire after 90 days.

Virtual (Out-of-Town Clients)

Virtual consultations are available for clients traveling from outside the area.

Clients must provide clear, recent photos of their hair before the consultation.

Missing photos may result in cancellation without refund.

Experience Fee

Per Visit

A 4% experience fee may be added at checkout to support salon amenities, upkeep, and overall guest experience.

Non-Refundable

The experience fee is assessed per appointment and is non-refundable.

Minors

Supervision

Children under 13 years old must not be left unattended inside the salon.

Barbering Age

Barbering services are available to children ages 5+ only.

Acknowledgment

By booking, paying a deposit, or confirming an appointment, you agree to the policies outlined above.

These policies may be used as supporting documentation in the event of a payment dispute or chargeback.
